Proper Film Photographers is a free, friendly film photography club based in Newquay, bringing together people who enjoy shooting film, talking cameras, and sharing their love of photography.

Each month we’ll meet in a relaxed setting, whether that’s a pub, coffee shop, gallery room, or another suitable venue. Meetings are private to members, providing a comfortable space to chat, learn, and share ideas.

We’ll explore different types of photography, film stocks, cameras, and techniques throughout the year. From time to time, professional photographers will join us to share their experiences and work. We’ll also organise occasional Proper Trips to interesting locations, which may carry a charge to cover costs.

Whether you’re new to film photography or have years of experience, you’re very welcome to join us. We hope to see you at a future meeting.
